Hiking is one of our most popular activities, and with 40 miles of hiking trails (including a portion of Ohio's famous Buckeye Trail), you'll find something new at every turn. Learn more about the hiking trails at Burr Oak.
We are privileged to have a marina with four launch ramps. Here you'll find pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, and motorboats available for rent, as well as seasonal dock space. Please note that our boating season runs from April 15 through October 15 each year. Give Skip Rickets a call at 740-767-3585 for more information.
Be sure to take advantage of our basketball, tennis, beach volleyball, shuffleboard and horseshoe courts during your stay—and kids of all ages will want to check out our playground equipment. Need a ball? Simply check one out from the main office.
Beautiful, sparkling Burr Oak Lake offers a public swimming beach with easy access to a bathhouse, showers, and a changing area. (Located across the lake from the lodge, on the west side)
A static archery range is near the campground. Two targets are NASP (10 and 15 meters). Four others are 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards. Bring your own equipment. Field points only; no broadheads. Bow hanger and quivers are provided.
Geocaching aficionados will delight in finding the caches hidden around the park. Stop by the front desk to rent a GPS device, or bring your own. Learn more and register for free at Geocaching.com.

Make Burr Oak Lodge your destination for the perfect fishing trip! Burr Oak Lake is known for its generous population of largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. Please be sure to arrive with a valid Ohio fishing license if you would like to fish. Fishing license can be purchased online.
